This article is not about the basics of twitter as I assume that would be boring for most of you. By now you have heard of Twitter, whether you use it regularly or not. Millions of people are using it and it seems to be taking the world by storm quickly. Celebrities and politicians are even using it to get their messages across, sometimes instead of the time tested press conference. Imagine how many Twitter messages are being created today during Michael Jackson’s Memorial Service. Probably multi-millions if not billions.

Times have changed and so have the tools that we use. Twitter is a simple tool yet can be used in profound ways. As a tool of communication it can be used to create relationships in a digital world that could not be done any other way. From a business perspective this is vital in a business world that is becoming dominated by SEO, PPC, e-mail marketing, e-books and newsletters, social media like youtube and so much more. There is one key to using Twitter as a money making tool and it is not very complicated to use it.

At first I was skeptical and ignored the shear brilliance of using Twitter. I had an account but never checked it and even coined a new term called Twunk. As in Twunk Mail, or junk mail on Twitter. I found it annoying to use and felt that the next generation of this application will be a new and improved technology and hopefully we would not have to wait too long for it. Then I started to see everyone using it in a truly intelligent way. It was a great way to build what is known as a list. Not just any list, but a list of targeted followers that are somewhat interested in what you may have to say. Now not everyone on Twitter follows it or what you have to say but where else can you tap into 20,000 people that might be interested in your product or service on any given day. Now if you do not have anything worthwhile to say then a puppy dog wouldn’t follow you. Don’t worry, most of what this tool is useful for is learnable if you have the desire. You can create a large following and then start to develop relationships. I know some of you reading this may not have a product or service yet but creating relationships does not require any of this to start. If there is one thing you should remember is that a targeted list is the starting point of all business online. This is not only possible but can be done by anyone that is willing to put in the effort. Let me stop you here. If you think it is a get rich quick scam then don’t waist your time. You will not make any decent money because social media helps you as much as it exposes you. On the other hand, if you are willing to learn and put in the effort then you will create a significant following on Twitter that can be turned into cash.

There is a system that is well known and I am finally able to share it with you. Remember, this is the one system that is being used by professionals and online business owners, network marketers, companies with product launches, politicians, celebrities, etc.

Affiliate marketing, network marketing, SEO, and direct sales are all exciting and
growing businesses online. Product launches that generate huge income and promise
to reach you to do the same are all over the internet. From Frank Kern, Mike
Dillard, Keith Wellman, Eben Pagan and many more gurus that are out there showing
everyone how to live the good life, there is one serious problem that seems to be
conveniently ignored. Obviously there is opportunity on the internet like never
before. There is an amazing amount of free information if you know who to listen
to. I watched a video earlier today that actually cleared up a question about
links on a website. In 3 minutes I understood how to create much better traffic
and a higher google rank than before. I also finally had proof in front of my eyes
as to how vital this really is. More important than content on a site, which blew
me away. Guess how much it cost me. Zero, zilch, nada. Invaluable and free. I
guarantee that I will be reading and talking more with that particular person. Ok.
back to my point that you must become a master of. My guess is that every person
that reads this will understand exactly what I am talking about. Many of you will
think that you already know this but my question is, do you put it into action?
Vision without action is daydreaming. And although this may be fun sometimes and
you may actually have a creative thought as well, it’s generally a waist of
productive time. So what am I referring to? Having IADD. Internet Attention
Deficit Disorder. IADD is insidious and pernicious at the same time. Once you have
it the first step is to become aware that you fit the criteria. The second step is
to admit it and the third step is to correct it or at least manage the symptoms.
Some of the symptoms include; being on multiple lists for e-mails from auto
responders, reading everything you can on websites and search engine optimization,
learning about affiliate marketing and always looking for another product or
service to launch. Joining network marketing companies and calling yourself an
internet marketer are dead givaways. The worst is always looking to buy from or
learn how to duplicate what the latest guru is doing. PLI possibly. Product
Launchitis. Launch mania at it’s worst.
So what can you do?
FOCUS! Decide what is the most exciting to you. Does it fit your personality type.
Write down a plan of action. Then you can decide to learn about and possibly even
spend money on a worthwhile venture. It’s the same as going to college, you have
to pick a major. Do not be foolish and end up with frustration and being the
master of nothing. You can have a minor but focusing your efforts on your major
discipline can make you wealthy online. It is also more enjoyable and you can
become an expert in an area. I know it’s a challenge for the IADD generation but
the most successful business people have done it this way since the beginning of
time. Same with great athletes as well as artists, etc. If you like product
launches then by all means study Frank Kern or Mike Dillard. If you want to
understand google adwords then read Perry Marshall’s work. If you want to create
relationship marketing campaigns online, then aweber is the place to go. You may
combine these ideas but stay focused in an area. I hope this helps you manage your

 Imagine you meet a motivated and sharp entrepreneurial person that you just know would knock the ball out of the park in your particular business. Your mouth waters at the possibility of working with him/her. You can see the potential of your business growing over the sticking point and finally you start making real money. Ok, it looks like this is a hot topic and everyone is in the same boat on this one. To bad most people are not being honest about this. Time for that to stop now. I don’t care if you are involved with network marketing, direct sales, home based business, small business, affiliate marketing or any other kind of business. It could be IBM, Apple or the local pizza shop. You may be able to find a leader or two and I’m sure you’ll meet quite a few. You might even be lucky enough for a true leader to stop and talk with you but chances are 99% of the time they move on without you. Why is this? And more importantly, what can you do about it? In order to work with a leader that can make that kind of difference you need to know where to look. There is one secret place to look for leaders, and when you find it you may want to keep it a secret.
There is one answer and one answer only. First I need to lay down a challenge for you. I run a private group that I have mentioned before, called The Millionaire Mindset group. My experience says that you will not do the next step that I ask of you even though it will give you the answer to our question. It will not cost you a penny or take much physical effort. And still, most of you will not follow the next step because it is so simple.
I want you to get in front of a mirror for literally 5 seconds. Look at yourself directly in the eyes for 5 seconds and then come back to reading.
